Objectives: Develop a custom search-engine style website that is easy for viewers to navigate and fast. Create business services based on listings in the directory and create administrative areas for consumers to manage preferred listings, and marketable services for business.
Description: @ebc wanted to create a website directory that would rival the major search engines. It was based on a few key issues: make a search-able website of businesses that was fast and un-obtrusive to viewers by offering services for them within the site they the viewer has control over, and create an environment for businesses to enter the Web market with low-cost solutions and not directly worry about promoting their business online.
So @ebc created Seekthe.Biz business directory. The plans for the site will include a "Rolodex" that will be a way for viewers to manage businesses they choose to deal with. On the business side, it all begins with the listing, and will build services attatched to the listing. So content can be built within the site to better and more affordably promote the business listings.
Other features will include advertising, points & rewards systems for both viewers and businesses, turn-key shopping carts, coupons and value-based services, business feature promotions, consumers ratings and reviews, and more.
