General Services Description:
There are usually two types of clients in this budget range: A "pure website concept", or a traditional client that wants to create a better website presence. Being more budget conscious, we try to implement a basic web site plan to help visualize the design, functionality, navigation, and establish an overall schedule for the site. Then we look at traditional design strategies such as: logo and image design, slogans and writing styles, branding and identity. Then the associated costs are broken down into "wants" and "needs". This helps to establish what a client can implement right away to get the website up and going, and place "wants" on the back-burner for a future date if it goes over the original budget established by the client.
Then the styles, functions and online presence are developed. This is a scheduled process of working with the customer to finalize design and development functions, while maintaining the current budgets that are in place, and realizing what features may extend the original budget.
We usually have a modified hosting and marketing/promotional plan in place to keep with the monthly budget. It will be ready to go by the time the site is live. On-going services in this budget can include: SEO monthly submissions, Pay Per Click ad management, email and newsletter promotions, custom hosting to manage traffic reports, and ecommerce and database/server support. The monthly marketing budget can work with a specified amount, you just will not have as much exposure that a higher budget may give you.
Ecommerce is usually part of the equation, and includes setup of SSL, merchant/gateway processing accounts, and special web server/database requirements.
