General Services Description:
This is usually a "starter" client that wants to get their feet wet by developing a website presence, or they are making an upgrade from a "personally" developed website. Some times this type of client has been burned by an independent designer or developer, and is left with a site they don't want, to one that is no completed. Being completely budget conscious, we try to implement a strategy to help visualize the design, functionality, navigation, and plan for what the client should do to complete their online presence. Then we look at traditional design strategies such as: logo and image design, slogans and writing styles, branding and identity, and really break them down into "wants" and "needs". This helps to establish what a client can implement right away to get the website up and going, and place "wants" on the back-burner. The goal of for this type of client to get the site running, get a nice design in place, and some functions to help complete what was originally planned.
The styles, functions and online presence are developed. This is a more streamlined process of working with the customer to finalize design and development functions, while respecting the current budgets that are in place.
We usually have a standard hosting plan in place to keep with the monthly budget. A basic promotional package may include a SEO monthly submission, this is usually in place to have some promotion working for the site. The monthly marketing plan usually will go up once some positive response of the site is established.
Ecommerce can be part of the equation, and includes setup of SSL, merchant/gateway processing accounts, but the solution is more of a "packaged" shopping cart. But most of our shopping cart solutions can be customized, so features can be added.
